We have a volunteer leadership team that oversees things, but we are not a traditional church with full-time staff or structured programs. We are simply believers walking this journey together. Our assembly welcomes believers of all backgrounds, and our leadership reflects that diversity. While many of our members are of African descent, not all of our elders are. Are you comfortable fellowshipping in an assembly where leadership is diverse in ethnicity?

The Assembly of Yahuah is developing a small outreach team of intercessors who on occasion reach out to various persons in our fellowship as they are led by the Ruach, just to see how a person is doing, to encourage them, and see if they have any prayer requests, etc.

Assembly Participation

Are you comfortable knowing that some areas of deeper connection within our assembly—like small groups or certain fellowship tools—are not immediately available to newcomers?

Our elders believe it’s important that those who join us are embracing the assembly as a whole, not just one part of it. That’s why we encourage everyone, especially those who are new, to be present for at least one of the Shabbat studies. This is a key way our elders get to know you and determine when to extend invitations to other areas of fellowship.

We’re so glad you’re interested in connecting with us. Our assembly offers many opportunities to gather—including weekly Shabbat studies, worship, prayer hours, and Q&A sessions—which are open to everyone.

While we do have ministries like the women’s Sisterhood Connections group, our elders ask that new members participate in the broader assembly as well. This helps foster unity, trust, and mutual understanding. For example, participation in Shabbat gatherings is encouraged before joining smaller, more focused groups. Because we’re a virtual assembly, it’s easy to pick and choose—but our heart is to walk together as a family. Women’s gatherings are just one beautiful piece of a bigger picture.
