Anyone from the Follow-up Team is welcome to contact me. They may only reach out to me at my request. They may reach out if I'm sick or have not shown up for more than 3-weeks. Honestly, I do not want anyone contacting me or reaching out to me for any reason. Women's Studies Notice Got it, not a problem for me Well, the only thing I'm interested in is the women's studies Our women's devotional sessions are very popular. Are you OK knowing that not all of our sessions are immediatley accessible for newcomers? We fist would like to see you attend and engage in Shabbat services on Saturday at 10:45 am EST, as our elders desire the opportunity to interact with and get to know you and all new persons incoming to the assembly before they participate in everything the assembly offers. The waiting period is usually a short timeframe, usually about a month or so.A Bit More Information* Ok, I understand better now We have study & prayer opportunities during the week. Some of them include a Q&A Study for the entire assembly for both men and women. This study is driven by questions asked by you or others in the assembly, where we collectively get to the bottom of what the Bible says on various topics. There is also morning worship & a message time on Saturdays, plus an afternoon Torah study, a Kids Shabbat Hour and also Testimony Time on Saturdays. On Wednesdays, there is a mid-week bible study that tackles books of the Bible verse by verse. There is a Prayer Hour on Fridays for men and women jointly, where we pray for one another, the world, and any other requests known plus share praise reports. We also read scripture during that hour or sing praise songs. There is a women's devotional session every 1st and 3rd Thursday where women gather to take a close look at various women in the Bible, what we can learn from them. Every now and then we also have seminars; for example, we had a Wellness & Preparedness Seminars in early 2021. We sometimes have special Family Nights or Praise Nights. Some studies you may participate in right away after interviewing with an Elder or Deacon. Other studies may require a short waiting period. This gives you an opportunity to read the welcome packet and engage with our elders on Shabbat and have a feel for our assembly before participating in some classes. By engaging, we simply mean raise your hand after the message and offer your feedback, and/or introduce yourself. You may want to simply say Shabbat Shalom. Usually doing this for a few Shabbats is enough for our elders to have a chance to greet you and have a general idea of who you and your family are by name. Speaking or engaging is not required but because we are a virtual assembly, it's a way for us to get to know you. We also invite you to schedule a meeting with our elders to get better acquainted with them. We realize our assembly may not be your main or only place of study or worship. That all said, the elders prefer that no one exclusively shows up to ONLY the women's fellowship and nothing else.
