Genesis Chapter 32: Jacob Becomes Israel

| We are continuing our Genesis study. Today we are in chapter 32. We watched in our last study how Jacob separated himself from Laban where he had been for many years. We watched the process in how he was able to separate and given the golden road so-to-speak by Yahuah. And everything that Laban tried to stop him… Yah made turn in Jacob’s favor. There is a path that Jacob is following that Yah laid out for Him, but there’s still some things he tries to hold onto. So as we look forward into this next chapter, we see Yahuah show him how to completely give himself over to Yahuah and have total faith in Him.
As we read this chapter, we can prayerfully come away with some practical ways to apply it to our personal lives. Let’s keep that in mind as we read through this chapter. It’s not just a story.
